About Kling 3.0
What it is
Kling is the video model family from Kuaishou, the Chinese short-video company. Kling 3.0 came out in February 2026 as a unified model that generates video, audio and images in one architecture. Kling 3.0 Turbo, a faster version, and an upgrade to the 3.0 Omni editing model followed in June 2026. You can use Kling in Kuaishou's own Kling AI app, through its API, and inside a long list of multi-model creator apps.
Key features
- Clips up to 15 seconds, with multi-shot storyboarding in a single generation
- Native audio, including dialogue in several languages, dialects and accents, with lip sync
- Omni variant edits existing footage and keeps elements consistent across shots. The June 2026 upgrade added 4K editing
- Turbo variant for faster, cheaper drafts
- Motion control and start/end-frame image-to-video
Where you can use it
Kling AI (Kuaishou's own web and mobile app) and the Kling API. Kling 3.0 is documented in Adobe Firefly (Generate video and Firefly Boards), Runway, Higgsfield, Krea, Freepik, Leonardo.Ai, Luma's app, invideo AI and ComfyUI partner nodes. OpenArt lists an older Kling 2.1.
Pricing and rights
The Kling AI app has a free Basic tier and four paid plans (Standard, Pro, Premier, Ultra). We could not load Kling's own plan page, so we have not verified the prices and price_from is left empty. In partner apps, Kling uses that app's credits. Look up the watermark and commercial-use terms of the app you generate in before publishing.
Who it is for
Short-form creators, ad makers and storytellers who need talking characters, including in non-English languages.
Verdict
Kling 3.0 is a top-tier choice for character motion and talking scenes, and it is available almost everywhere. The consumer app's credit pricing and queue times are hard to predict.
Pros
- Native audio with lip sync in several languages
- Up to 15 s with multi-shot in one generation
- Offered in Firefly, Runway, Freepik, Krea and more
- Turbo tier for cheap drafts
Cons
- Official consumer pricing hard to verify
- Credit costs vary widely by mode
- Clips still capped at 15 seconds
