What is VEED?

What it is

VEED is a London-based online video editor that runs in the browser (with an Android app). It started as a subtitle tool and now covers editing, auto subtitles and translation, AI dubbing, text-to-speech, AI characters and avatars, screen recording, and an AI Playground for generating clips with third-party video models. VEED also makes its own models, such as Fabric 1.0, which turns an image into a talking video.

Every generation uses AI credits and the cost is shown first; premium models like Veo burn many more credits per second than VEED's own models.

Pricing and rights

The plans are Free, Creator, Pro, Studio and Enterprise, billed per user, with a yearly AI-credit allowance on paid plans. The pricing page loads prices by region, so we could not confirm the current USD figures from VEED directly; check veed.io/pricing. The free plan exports with a VEED watermark (removing it is a paid feature), has limited subtitle minutes and storage, and can generate AI clips of up to 12 seconds in some regions. Creator, Pro and Studio differ in credits, subtitle and dubbing minutes, reviewers and storage.

Marketers, educators and social teams who want subtitles, translations and quick edits in a browser without learning a pro editor.

Verdict

VEED is easy to use, its subtitle and translation tools are good, and the model menu is wide. The catches are a watermark on free exports, per-seat pricing, and AI credits that premium models use up fast. Its Playground model versions are also older than those in some rival apps.
