About VibeContent and how we rank

VibeContent is an independent directory of AI content creation: the apps that write, film, draw, speak and compose for you, the models inside them, and the open-source workflows and MCP servers that automate the rest. We map which models you can use in which app, what each tool makes, and what you are allowed to do with the output, and we say plainly where each one falls short.

How the ranking works

Each listing gets an editor score from 0 to 10. For apps it weighs output quality, control over the result, value for money (what the credits really buy), the fairness of the free plan and commercial-use terms, and openness to other models, APIs and automations. For models it weighs output quality for content work, control, price per result and licence. For workflows and MCP servers it weighs usefulness, code quality, maintenance and adoption. Reader upvotes and click-throughs adjust the order over time. Sponsored placements are always labelled.

Where the facts come from

Prices, plans, credit allowances, commercial-use terms, watermark rules and model availability come from each vendor's own pricing, terms and documentation pages, and listings are re-checked regularly. Every day an automatic scout searches GitHub for new ComfyUI workflows, Agent Skills, MCP servers and open models, and watches Hacker News and Product Hunt for new apps; every hour we refresh stars and last-commit dates for GitHub-backed listings. Nothing new appears before a person has reviewed it.

What we will not list

Tools whose main purpose is deception: non-consensual deepfakes and face swaps, voice cloning without consent checks, “humanizers” sold to beat AI detectors, fake-review generators and spam content farms.
