OpusClip, from Opus Pro, takes a long video such as a podcast, webinar or stream, finds the moments most likely to work as shorts, and exports them as vertical clips with captions, reframing and a virality score. The same company also makes Agent Opus, which generates longer videos from a prompt, script or blog URL by combining several AI video models.

OpusClip's clipping uses its own models. Opus Pro says Agent Opus brings together Kling, Hailuo (MiniMax), Veo, Runway, Seedance, Luma and Pika, and picks a model for each scene. Sora was also listed, but OpenAI has shut the Sora app and its API.

Starter: $15/month (monthly billing only), 150 credits, watermark removal, 29-day storage. Pro: $29/month or $14.50/month billed annually ($174/year), 300 credits a month that roll over, 100 GB storage, unlimited MP4 exports and commercial use. Business is custom. Commercial use is only listed from Pro upward.

Verdict
OpusClip saves hours of scrubbing through footage and its clip picks are usually a good starting point. You still need to review the clips, credits run out fast on long uploads, and the free and Starter plans are not meant for commercial use.
