As of September 2026 (US): Free ($0) with 3.6 Flash, limited 3.1 Pro, image creation, Deep Research, Gemini Live and 15 GB storage. Google AI Plus is $4.99/month (2x limits, video creation, 200 Flow credits, 400 GB). Google AI Pro is $19.99/month (4x limits, 1,000 Flow credits, 5 TB, Jules and Gemini in Chrome). Google AI Ultra starts at $99.99/month and goes to $199.99/month (up to 25,000 Flow credits, Deep Think, 20 TB+). Google's terms say it won't claim ownership of original content you generate, so outputs can be used commercially, subject to Google's prohibited-use policy.

Who it is for

Creators already on Google Workspace, and anyone who wants writing, images and short video from one subscription at a low entry price.

Verdict

Gemini gives the most multimedia for the money, from free image generation to Veo video on paid tiers. The downsides are credit-based video limits, frequent plan reshuffles, and the best models sitting behind the more expensive tiers.
