Grok is the AI assistant from xAI, now branded SpaceXAI on its site. It is available at grok.com, in the X app and on iOS and Android. Besides chat and writing it has Grok Imagine, which generates images and short videos with audio, and a voice mode.

xAI's pricing pages blocked automated reading, so these figures come from September 2026 third-party guides and should be confirmed on grok.com: free use with limits (also on X); SuperGrok Lite about $10/month (15 videos a day at 480p, 6 seconds); SuperGrok about $30/month (full Imagine); SuperGrok Plus about $100/month (1080p video, higher limits); SuperGrok Heavy about $300/month (includes X Premium+). X Premium+ also includes SuperGrok. The Imagine API is prepaid, about $0.05-0.07 per second of video. We could not read xAI's terms on output ownership for this check.

Verdict

Grok packs chat, images and video with sound into one subscription and has good real-time X data. Low video resolution on cheap tiers, high prices at the top and ongoing moderation questions are the main limitations.
