Typefully is a distraction-free editor and scheduler for text-first social posts and threads. It publishes to X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon and Instagram, shows analytics, and supports automations. It has leaned into agent workflows: there is a public API, an MCP server and an open-source Agent Skills repository so AI assistants can draft and schedule for you.

Pricing and rights

There is a Free plan (limited posts and social sets) and paid tiers. Typefully's pricing page renders client-side and we could not read the numbers; third-party trackers disagree (Creator figures range from $12.50 to $19 a month), so price_from is left empty. Team collaboration requires the Business plan (or legacy Team/Agency). Cancelling drops you to the free plan. Your posts remain your content.

Who it is for

Founders, writers and creators who post text-heavy content on X, LinkedIn and Threads and want a calm editor, plus developers who want to post from an AI agent. It is also a good fit for people who draft in an AI assistant and want to hand the result straight to a scheduler through MCP or the API.

Verdict

Typefully is one of the nicest places to write social posts and is unusually well set up for AI agents with its API, MCP server and skills. It is not a full social suite: image- and video-heavy channels and deep analytics are better served elsewhere.
