What it is

Adobe for creativity is Adobe's official connector for Claude, launched with Anthropic on 28 April 2026 and built on MCP. It brings more than 50 tools from Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Firefly, Premiere, Express, InDesign and Adobe Stock into a chat, so you can describe an edit and let Claude pick and chain the tools.

How to install

In Claude web, Desktop or Cowork, add the Adobe for creativity connector from the connectors directory and sign in if you want more tools; paid Claude plans can also install it as a plugin with curated skills. Adobe documents it for Claude; a separate Adobe for ChatGPT app exists. Adobe's pages do not publish a generic MCP URL for other clients.

Pricing and rights

You can start without an Adobe account: guests get about 40 standard tools. A free Adobe account adds more tools and higher limits; a paid Creative Cloud plan unlocks full features and cloud storage. Adobe's getting-started page does not state commercial-use terms; Firefly and Stock follow Adobe's usual licences.

Verdict

A broad, official toolset that works even for guests. It is built for Claude's connector system rather than as a general MCP server, and plan limits and rights are less clearly documented than in Adobe's own apps.
