What it is

Auphonic is an Austrian web service and API that automatically post-produces spoken-word audio and video. You upload a recording, or connect a watch folder or a hosting service. Auphonic levels the voices, removes noise and reverb, cuts filler words and silence, hits a loudness target and publishes the file with metadata and chapters.

Pricing and rights

As of September 2026 the free plan covers 2 hours of processed audio a month, with Auphonic's jingle added to each production and no rollover. Recurring plans reset monthly: S (9 h), M (21 h), L (45 h), XL (100 h) and XXL (250 h). Yearly billing saves 20%. S is reported at about $13/month billed monthly ($11 yearly), but the pricing page renders prices in the browser. One-time credits from 5 to 3,000+ hours never expire. Billing counts input duration, with a 3-minute minimum per production. API access is included on all plans, even free.

Verdict

Auphonic is dependable, fairly priced audio post-production, and it scales from one show to a fully automated pipeline. It doesn't record or do creative editing, and the free plan's jingle means you'll pay as soon as you publish regularly.
