What it is

HeyGen's official, MIT-licensed skills give a coding agent the ability to create a HeyGen avatar, produce avatar videos through HeyGen's v3 Video Agent pipeline and translate videos. The repo ships three skills: heygen-avatar, heygen-video and heygen-translate. The agent asks for what it is missing (script, look, voice), picks a style, generates the video and returns a share link.

How to install

Install with gh skill install heygen-com/skills heygen-video (and likewise heygen-avatar and heygen-translate; GitHub CLI 2.90+), via ClawHub, or by cloning the repo into your agent's skills folder. Then install the HeyGen CLI and set HEYGEN_API_KEY, or connect HeyGen's MCP server instead.

Pricing and rights

The skills are free, but video generation uses your HeyGen plan credits or API balance. Watermarks, commercial use and avatar-consent rules follow your HeyGen plan and terms; only create avatars of people who have agreed to it.
