Who it is for

Short-form creators, coaches and social media agencies who publish many vertical talking videos and want a consistent caption style. It is less useful for long-form YouTube editing, where a full editor such as Descript or Premiere gives more control.

Verdict

Submagic is quick at the one job most short-form creators need: captions that look like the current trends, plus B-roll and cuts. Video length and count limits per plan are tight, the Starter plan exports only 1080p/30fps, and heavy automatic B-roll can look generic unless you review it.
