Suno v6 🧠 Model Freemium

What it is

Suno's models generate complete songs, with vocals, lyrics and arrangement, from a text prompt or your own lyrics. Suno v6 launched on 9 September 2026. Suno presented it as a new generation built in partnership with the music industry, after licensing deals with Warner Music Group (November 2025) and BMG (August 2026) and a distribution partnership with Believe/TuneCore. The v6 family includes v6, v6-wild and a v6-mini model for free users.

Where you can use it

Only in Suno's own web and mobile apps (and Suno Studio). Suno does not offer a public API, and we found no creator app in our directory that licenses the Suno model.

Pricing and rights

The Free plan gives 50 credits a day on v6-mini, with no commercial rights and 7 lifetime trial downloads. Pro costs $8 a month ($64 a year) for 2,500 credits, 20 downloads a month and commercial rights. Premier costs $24 a month ($192 a year) for 10,000 credits and 60 downloads. Unused subscription credits do not roll over. Suno updated its terms and download policy on 3 September 2026, so re-read them before you release music.

Songwriters, YouTubers, podcasters and hobbyists who want finished songs with vocals fast, and are fine working inside one app.

Verdict

Suno v6 is a leading model for complete vocal songs, and the label deals reduce, but do not end, the rights questions. Downloads are capped per month, the free plan gives no commercial rights, and there is no API.
