Vidu is the video app from ShengShu Technology, built on its own Vidu models. The current flagship is Vidu Q3, with Vidu Q2 still available. Vidu is best known for reference-to-video, which keeps characters and scenes consistent from uploaded references. Vidu S adds real-time interactive generation.

Pricing and rights

As of September 2026 the pricing page loads plans only after sign-in, so we could not verify plan prices, credits or watermark rules for this listing. The page says new users get trial credits and more come from daily logins and events. Subscription credits last 30 days. Purchased and bonus credits last two years. Vidu does not give refunds, and Stripe subscriptions renew automatically. Check the in-app plan cards for current prices and whether your plan removes the watermark and includes commercial use.

Who it is for

Verdict

Vidu Q3's reference system is a real strength for consistent characters, and 16-second clips with audio are competitive. Opaque pricing behind a login, a no-refund policy and no third-party models make it harder to recommend without a trial first.
