What it is

Looka is a Toronto-based AI logo maker and branding platform. You enter your company name, pick styles and colors you like, and Looka's AI generates logo options that you can edit in its designer. The Brand Kit subscription then applies your logo, fonts and colors to hundreds of ready-made assets, and a higher tier adds an AI-generated website.

Pricing and rights

You can design and preview logos for free, but you pay to download. As of September 2026: Basic Logo Package costs $35 one-time for one low-res PNG. Premium Logo Package costs $72 one-time for multiple high-res file types, color variations, unlimited post-purchase changes and full ownership. Brand Kit Subscription costs $96 a year and includes unlimited logo changes, full ownership of the logo even after the subscription ends, hi-res and vector files, and the 300+ branded assets. Brand Kit Web costs $129 a year and adds a website. There is no free download, and the $35 package gives only a single low-resolution PNG.

Verdict

Looka is a fast, affordable way to get a presentable logo and matching templates, with clear ownership. Logos come from templates, so they can look similar to other brands and may not be distinctive enough to trademark. The cheapest package is barely usable.
